Jane Elyce Glasgow, Ph.D.

Dr. Jane Glasgow PhotoJane Elyce Glasgow, Ph.D., is executive director of Minus 9 to 5. Before this position, Dr. Glasgow was an early childhood professional development consultant. She previously directed the Children’s Learning and Research Center at Old Dominion University and was program manager for the Child Development Lab and an adjunct instructor for early childhood development at Tidewater Community College. She started her career as a kindergarten and first grade teacher in Chesapeake Public Schools. With a true passion for helping children and families develop and thrive, much of her work has focused on parent engagement and supporting families as they raise their children. Dr. Glasgow earned an undergraduate degree in elementary and special education from Longwood University, a masters and doctoral degree in education from Old Dominion University with a concentration in early childhood.
