Laney Bueno
Laney is a native Texan and Navy spouse who moved to Norfolk, Virgnia in 2022. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Health & Society from the University of Texas, where she also worked as a Research Assistant to help launch the Black Mama's Community Collective (now known as Black Mama's ATX). Throughout her career, Laney has worked alongside city officials, universities, corporate partners, and grassroots organizations to build programs that strengthen communities. Being a part of Minus 9 to 5 allows her to bring her love of population health and community engagement together to support families and improve health outcomes.
