Our Steering Committee

Lex Gray Oglesby, is Director of Communication at Cape Henry Collegiate School. Prior to this position, she was a news anchor with WAVY-TV 10. She lives in Virginia Beach and is the mother of a toddler. She has a Bachelor of Arts with Scholastic Distinction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison: School of Journalism & Mass Communication, Wisconsin School of Business. Some of her volunteer endeavors include coordinating the Lynnhaven River NOW Pearl Schools’ Volunteer Program. She has also been a coach and emcee for the non-profit organization, Girl’s on the Run.  Her favorite children’s book is Love You Forever, Robert Munsch. One of her best memories from kindergarten was “Milk Break. If you can believe it, there were kids that didn’t choose chocolate.”
