Jerry Stewart was for many years the Workforce Development Coordinator at the Virginia Beach Department of Economic Development. Since retirement, he is a consultant for Early Education Business Consultants, LLC. He resides in Virginia Beach. He has a B.S. in Business Administration. He believes that quality early childhood is important to the future economic vitality in Hampton Roads and remains dedicated to supporting this important sector of business. His favorite children’s book series is the Bernstein Bears and his most prominent memory of kindergarten is napping on very thin mats.
