CLASS Observer

Interested in becoming a certified contracted CLASS observer?

Earn a CLASS Certification change the region with Ready Region Southeastern

We are looking for candidates interested in becoming certified in the CLASS tool, and would then become a contracted observer to complete CLASS observation assignments for programs participating in the VQB5 initiative. A class observer in Ready Region Southeastern is certified to collect CLASS data in a classroom for the designated age level:

  • Infant (birth - 18 months)
  • Toddler (15 - 35 months)
  • Pre-K (3 - 5 years)

To receive this certification you:

  • Do not need any formal prerequisites
  • Attend a paid CLASS Observation Training
  • Pass a reliability test after training

A good candidate is an individual who can evaluate classrooms and provide feedback to teachers, directors, and family day home providers in a positive and supportive way. Whether you have a background in Early Childhood or not, we would love to have you!
