Dr. Kaethe (Kate) Ferguson lives in Norfolk and is an Associate Professor at EVMS and the Director of the Department of Pediatrics Division of Community Health & Research. She has a M.S. in Microbiology and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership & Policy Analysis, Public Health Policy. Dr. Ferguson has held various state-level leadership positions with The March of Dimes. She works with the Loving Steps Home Visitation Program and with the Consortium for Infants & Child Health (CINCH), both affiliated with her department. Her most vivid memory in kindergarten involves sharing her cherry flavored Lumen’s cough drops with her best friends Phillip Wyatt and Susie Morris.
