Our Staff

Kelly Brenner is a Minus 9 to 5 Program Engagement Assistant working on the Virginia Birth to Five (VQB5) project for Ready Region Southeastern. Prior to coming to EVMS, Kelly was a contracted CLASS observer conducting classroom observations externally and locally.  She is certified in the Infant, Toddler and Pre-K CLASS tool.  She is also an affiliate trainer in Toddler and PreK,  and soon to be Infant.  So she will be increasing our observer capacity at our local Ready Region Southeastern level.  Kelly earned her Bachelors of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Rhode Island.  She started her career as a Pre-K teacher and has worn many hats in the education field.  She is very excited to be working on a project that values Early Education and its educators.
