Our Staff

Lauren Gray is Assistant Director of Early Childhood Care and Education at Minus 9 to 5.  She was previously the Director of Accountability at Poquoson City Public Schools.  Prior to that Lauren worked in Newport News Public Schools for over nineteen years as an elementary teacher, assistant principal and principal with the last seven years as building principal of early childhood programs. Lauren earned her undergraduate degree in English with a concentration in Education, as well as her Masters in Teaching at Hampton University.  She later went on to obtain her Masters in Educational Leadership at Old Dominion University.  Lauren sees herself as a lifelong learner with a passion for early childhood teaching and learning.  She is excited to be with Minus 9 to 5 to continuously serve the early childhood community of Hampton Roads.
